Conexus: Ana Mae Salando

In this article, we’d like to introduce you to one of our Experience Coordinators, Ana Mae Salando.

Ana Mae joined the Conexus MedStaff team in August 2024. She lives in Quezon City in the Philippines, and enjoys spending time being active when she isn’t working – including going rock climbing. As an Experience Coordinator, Ana how to establish herself as a reliable source of information and manage her healthcare professionals’ cases efficiently.

 

What are you most looking forward to in your role?

As an Experience Coordinator with Conexus MedStaff, I look forward to helping more healthcare professionals achieve their dream placements.

Which Conexus value (passion, integrity, care and support, family, growth, gratitude) resonates most with you and why?

Family has been instrumental in my journey. Without their support and encouragement, I wouldn't be the passionate career woman I am today.

Tell us about your life outside of work.

I do physical activities to maintain a healthy lifestyle. During weekends, playing badminton and jogging are the best things to do.

What are three positive words that people often use to describe you?

Committed, passionate, respectful.

How do you give back to your community?

I provide food and clothing to those in need.

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I love extreme activities! Like rock climbing and many others.

What is your dream vacation?

On the white sand beach with my loved ones.

What is something on your desk, a nearby wall, or out the window that cheers you up during the day?

Do you have a favorite musical artist, band or song?

Ne Yo, Chris Brown and Black Pink - I love all their songs.

What is your favorite quote or motto?

Never stop learning.

What is the best piece of advice you have been given?

Show respect for everyone and cherish what you have.

What is something you find inspiring?

Our relationship reflects our journey together. From humble beginnings, my partner and I have achieved so much and can now comfortably provide for our needs.

What types of books or movies do you enjoy?

I love watching rom-com movies and series.
